All About Commodities | Types, Attributes, Asset Allocation, & Pack Sales
With the CenturyVerse Rail Cars geared up at the Freight Yard, it’s time to find out what Railroaders will pack into them.
Commodities are the primary factor in determining Tocium payout. Hard to get paid if transporting an empty haul.
Commodity Types
As discussed in the ‘All About Rail Cars’ article, every Commodity has a Commodity Type. This attribute determines whether a Commodity can be hauled by a specific Rail Car. The 13 different Commodity Types are:
Commodity Attributes
In addition to the Type, Commodities have two attributes that Railroaders should take note of.
Volume
This attribute correlates to the Rail Car’s Capacity attribute and determines how much space the Commodity will take up.
Weight
This attribute correlates to the Locomotive’s Hauling Power. Even if there is enough space in the Rail Car, freight loads that exceed the Locomotive’s Hauling Power will prevent that Train from leaving the station.
Rarity
Ranging from Common to Mythic, Commodity NFTs follow the same rarity levels as other Train of the Century assets. Fifty four unique Commodities will be introduced into the CenturyVerse on September 18th.
The number of unique Commodities per rarity level are listed below:
Allocation
We want to give every Railroader a chance to pack their Rail Cars to the limit. To achieve this, Commodities will not be released in a 1:1 ratio with Rail Cars, but rather a 3:1 ratio with Rail Cars. This means Commodity Slack Packs will contain 9 Commodities and Max Packs will contain 27 Commodities.
The total number of packs and the prices will remain the same as previous sales.
Sale
The Commodity Pack sales will be split into two sales, a Whitelist Sale and a Public Sale.
The prices for both sales will be:
Slack Pack: $22.50 in WAX
Max Pack: $67.50 in WAX
Whitelist Sale
The Whitelist Sale will be held on NeftyBlocks September 18th 16:00 UTC for Slack Packs with a 2 pack limit and a 1 minute cool-down. Max Packs will be 16:05 UTC with a 1 pack limit and 1 minute cool-down. Possessing the Commodity Whitelist Ticket will be required to participate in the drop.
Whitelist Criteria: Opening a Rail Car Slack Pack or Rail Car Max Pack before August 31st 21:30 UTC. 745 accounts fit this criteria. These accounts have the option to purchase their Commodity Whitelist Ticket (for a 500 Tocium fee) in the CenturyVerse Ticket Booth. These tickets will be non-transferable.
Public Sale
The Commodity Public Sale will be held on AtomicHub September 25th 16:00 UTC for Slack Packs and 16:05 UTC for Max Packs. Both will have a 1 account limit with a 1 minute cool-down. A keyed link will be dropped seconds before.
