January 27 Development Update
v1.24.3:
Entering Buildings
You can now enter (some) of the buildings in the game, and it’ll be easy to add more. Buildings come with scalable click regions for transiting rooms and room items that are interact-able with effects, pairings and actions. When outside of a building on ground level, if there are other enterable buildings in the region, left and right directional arrows will take you there. Currently, the enterable buildings include The Library where players can read stories and The Arcade where they can play games. Additionally, the Clothing Store in Pemberton Heights now takes players to the Centurytrain store, where they can link an Ethereum wallet and get 10% off if they hold a Choochoos NFT.
Pop Up Scaling
Station pop ups have been increased in size by 20%. I also re-did the clicked station with train info so it’s easier to read. The card drawer has been made smaller to accommodate for larger pop ups, and the title vanishes when the (20% larger) station dashes are opened. Station Dash Popups on the edges of the map should also be more accessible now, but there’s still room for improvement.
Edit Train Filtering
Filters have been added to the edit train mode. Previously, it filtered the card type depending on what you were modifying (conductor, loco, rc), but now you can use the filter to toggle rarities as well. I realize this feature is likely most requested for commodity filtering in the loading dock view, which is next on my list.
Sound Design
Added more sound effects and methods that expand what we can do with them.
Portrait Mode Prompt
There is now a full screen image within a prompt to rotate your device if the width of the viewport is less than the height.
Train Pin Positioning
Train pins on the left side center vertically.
